Carroll has 30+ years of global, national, regional and local strategic private and public sector entrepreneurial executive leadership experience. He is an economic and business development thought leader and practitioner with a career focused on the opportunities provided by the convergence economy. Within this field, Carroll develops, implements and manages innovative public/private sustainable economic development initiatives; identification of financial resources for precious metals, technology and major infrastructure firms and projects; community regeneration/capacity building efforts; streamlining the public sector point of contact for economic development processes; foreign market access programs (investments, strategic alliances and market penetration); and, organizational/business creation/change management efforts. He has worked at the senior executive level for the U.S. government, regional organizations, local governments and private sector consultancy in various U.S. and foreign locales including Washington, DC; Massachusetts; Virginia; the United Kingdom, Ireland, People’s Republic of China; and, Taiwan.
Carroll holds 21 doctoral credits from Boston College towards a joint MBA/PhD in statistical analysis and socially responsible investment; an MA in international economics/relations from the Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS), Washington, DC; and, a BA in international areas studies from the University of Massachusetts, Boston. He is professionally fluent in Chinese and has studied Russian and German at the university level.

Alex Carroll
Partner – Creative and Creative Industries
Carroll is a Partner at the Carrnab Group, Managing Partner at Carrnab Entertainment and a Consultant to John Joseph Advisory, LLC.
At the Carrnab Group, Carroll focuses on development of convergence models that take advantage of opportunities between the entertainment industry and other big data sectors. Specifically, his key activities include strategic concept, technological and finance advising focusing on the technological and content needs and future direction of the Entertainment & Media (E&M) for both Convergence Framework and Convergence Hub development. Carroll provides all the original content for Carrnab Entertainment including a portfolio of nine projects including feature films, TV series and novels. Carroll’s current focus is transforming one of his series projects into a full-scale Multi-Media Strategy (MMS). This MMS develops a ‘creative universe’ that will offer 17 commercial entertainment products over a 10-year period which include: traditional series/limited series; films; AAA video games; mobile games; online content for social media and other developing markets; and, literature for online and hardcopy consumption. As a Consultant for John Joseph Advisory, LLC, an economic and business development group focused on major infrastructure and technology projects, Carroll provides client support services, documentation writing and editing, as well as technologic support services.
Carroll is a member of the Actors’ Equity Union and the global professional writers’ group, Craft Services. He has appeared in multiple Off-Broadway productions. He is a graduate of Sarah Lawrence College.

Diane Nahabedian
Managing Partner – Promotions and Public Relations
Nahabedian is an accomplished visionary leader with expertise in restructuring and repositioning organizations; board development and stewardship; brand development; institutional advancement/fundraising; marketing; public relations/communications; project development, management and budgeting; organizational, departmental, and project cost reduction; membership; special events; and, community and stakeholder relations. Industries include: social services/advocacy for disabilities and general healthcare; children, youth and families; arts and cultural organizations; tourism; global higher education; and, elder issues. Her experience is at the local, regional, national, and global levels, as well as across and within diverse ethnic, cultural, and linguistic groups ranging from start-ups to organizations with budgets in excess of $100+ million.
Nahabedian has a bachelor of arts from Brandeis University and a master of science degree in from the College of Communication at Boston University.
